Glad you're here. I post research notes, pieces of life, and random thoughts along the way. Take your time, and feel free to reach out.

About

Hi! I'm Yuling Liao. I studied Mathematics at National Taiwan University, and I'm currently a master's student at the Graduate Institute of Networking and Multimedia, working with the NTU NLP Lab advised by Prof. Hsin-Hsi Chen.

My research focuses on multimodal LLM robustness and multilingual evaluation - basically, how models behave when the world gets noisy, diverse, and a little messy. I also love cross-disciplinary conversations. I'm curious about connecting my math background with AI and ideas from bioengineering to build things that make the world a bit better. If you have ideas, critiques, or just want to think through a problem together, feel free to reach out.

Outside of research, I play basketball, do photography, and I'm a guitar newbie. And I'm a K-pop lover -- a 10-year ARMY (BTS fan) ;). If I'm not here, you can probably find me somewhere in Korea (at least in spirit).
